Tharn Helmsunder - Winter Warrior

I wanted to portray a old warrior with battle scars, rheumatic skins and hair streaked with greys. He looked tired and after a pitched battle, he removed his helm, rested his war hammer on his hip and allowed his old and tired body a well-deserved rest.

The freehand tartan is great. The armor is great as well, the inks really give it the dar leathery feeling. The metals are good examples of how metals should be done. Others have mentioned the flesh. It looks like veins popping out. But I think it's a style thing. The red hair definitely looks like it came out of a bottle. But seeing the highlights of gray, perhaps it did. The base is muted but it works fantastically with the colorful character.
