German Valkyrie walker (Gear Krieg)

Another one of Dream Pod Nine's "Gear Krieg" World War 2 walkers. I added a Hotchkiss-tank-style mini turret to this one to beef it up a little. The commander is, as usual, a Flames of War figure. Winter camo in WW2 was usually just whitewash, applied hastily in the field with mops and rags, so I tried to mimic a sloppy, rushed application... without it looking like I just rushed MY paint job. You be the judge...

As someone who has regrettably spent dozens and dozens of hours looking at WWII armored vehicle pics and reading up on common battlefield practice, I can say that this vehicle was probably painted with flour paste using the radio man's bath sponge while drinking plundered Russian vodka. A difficult look to pull off especially considering your usual crisp styling. I like the way it looks like it was painted while in ground mode and is now in walker.

do not get me wrong- I like it, but your whitewash looks more like chipped paint. Whitewash was a very thin and watery paint, so it should flow.
