Jahenna, Vampiress in Transparent Dress

When painting this figure, I primarily concentrated on two things. One was using a fairly limited palette and trying to create a cold colour mood, and the other was practicing transparent clothes. I had originally prepped this as a gaming piece, so I was sort of stuck with the thick base once I finished painting. Many thanks to my friend Mike for supplying the tendrils.

Sheer fabric is outstanding; hair and base are a bit blah. But if this was an exercise in sheer only, then good job.

I love this one, I wish I could paint transparant fabric like that...great job!

The flesh tones seem a bit too healthy for me to picture a vampire. The sheer effect is wonderful though...the right ankle looks a bit thick.
