I enjoyed painting this mini. I'm quite pleased with the way it ended up. I was aiming to make him quite colourful without being gaudy and I think I acheived it with slightly muted but otherwise bright colours. All the metallics are NMM and the helmet is SENMM. The 'orb' on the end of the staff has been gloss varnished. I am particularly pleased with the stone effect on the base... it's a section from a cork coaster which has been painted to look like stone.
