the colour choice is good. greyish colours always looks convincing and works well together. is the easiestwway toa chieve an ambiance.. before you try high level techniques you should improv4e the basic ones. the smooth is good so no, go towards the contrast.. lightline and darkline.. from above and below the line outlining of light and shadow. then try toa chieve a flesh looking for the skin. it is useful to practice in paper..not in a mini.first of all learn how to mix like if you were a classical oil painter. everything is connected
