This mini has been through many encounters with me. A dwarf from Reaper. Touches have been added here and there over time. I think I missed his wash up. But, oh well. I call him Angriff Onyxfist.
As far as I can see, you applied dark washes with much water on them, creating the "pooling" effect (look at the strong lines at the border of the washes). This can be easily solved by removing the water excess in the brush with some tissue paper before going to the figure. Look for any "glazing" tutorial in the articles section, you'll find excellent explanations. And try something on that base, would be a major improvement.
