Vasa Archangel

I was quite happy with the finished result on this figure as overall I felt it was extremely aesthetically pleasing. I wanted to go for some non standard colours and I went for Orange and Dark Blue in the end with a nice overall feel. This taken along with the face and the base gave a really nice standard miniature at the end.

If I might suggest a better way to take your photos for next time. Head outside in some real light on a clear day, and get in the shadow of your house/appartment/whatever, and take the picture there. Its damned hard to take a bad picture in real light. I would have given this a 6 based on the picture, but I know what a bad shot can do, and I think I do see evidence of some nice shading and highlighting in there that the camera didn't fully catch. So, I'm giving ya a 7 out of the benefit of the doubt. Get a picture of her out in the sunlight so we can see the true colors, and submit it again! :)

Looks like it's a cool mini, but photo has spoilt it!

Now I've see this figure in the flesh so to speak, & it looks a lot nicer than this picture would suggest. the light has killed any highlights that are on it. Sorry... Got to be honest
