This was mini was an experiment with using washes and glazes over highlighted base coats and for a mini painted in a single day I think it cam out reasonably well.
Thanks Ian. I used to really hate painting faces because I just couldn't get them to look right so after reading some articles I just started to practice doing it and then refining my technique till it got easier. The general's face only took about 30 mins or so once the initial basecoat and shading had dried... I actually don't mind painting faces anymore :D
