The edges were given a very light dry brush with a much lighter blue. I wanted the armour to be almost black in the shaded areas. I have tried to avoid lightening the model too much with dry brushing as I am fairly happy with the overall colour but I agree that the edges could do with perhaps adding some highlights to make them stand out more. Thanks for the great feed back guys.

I would say that you have reached your objective, then! That's a very nice tabletop, and I would be thrilled to play against it. One thing I can't see in the photo is if the edges are highlighted, or if you stopped at a wash and good basecoat... perhaps adding some white to that blue and drybrushing before the wash step, or going back and picking out some hard edges with a lighter color? The sword looks like a heavy wash... if you went back over the blade with some silver along the edge, don't lose the cool shading on the power cable, but the large flat section of the blade.

Good dry brushing but try doing it in 2 stages with the second a lighter colour but more thinly brushed. Add some thin specular highlights (make sure paint is very thin for this). Always wipe the majority of the paint off your brush when doing highights etc. When photographing the mini make sure its a bit further away and in focus.
