Raptor DreadHunter
Since i've been using my two converted Dreads, my enemies have been putting more points in tanks/Dreads... hmmm... so i needed something that would really cope well with that nasty situation. So I checked out the possibilities and after looking at some old Star Wars movies, i knew it... A biped which is agile and can mount some devastating weaponry. So the Raptor (Jurasic Park ;-) was born. It's a conversion in which i used a Leman Russ turret, a sentinel and various bits from Space Marine sprues. The result is a Walker which has some serious fire power in the like of a Dual Lascannon, Dual heavy flamers for those grunts stupid enough to assault it, a smoke launcher, and 2 tubes filled with missiles (krak/frag.. whatever). It's a nasty piece of hardware, and now i can really put some pressure on those enemie dreads and tanks.
