This is my CMON2 (More Views of my Amazon) Normally for most painting competitions I go conversion crazy. For the CMON2 I wanted to focus only on the painting and do a decent base for her. The short interpretation: The CMON2 fig has a very somber look. I kind of look that one does when they are recalling or taking in something they are looking at. The pose then is of the Amazon looking at the ruin remains of her lost empire. She stands on the a temple wall that has lain in waist for some time. __ Xavier

painting is very well done and I especially like her cloak, but if, as you say, the temple has been a ruin for a long time, the paint should be faided. In fact, fresh fresco is rarely as vivid as you painted here. My first impression was that she was standing on a giant book.
