Warhammer Quest Snotling

My fifth completed miniature, and another one from my husband's old Warhammer Quest box. I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out. The highlighting and shading is a little less evident in the photo than in life, which results in the paintjob looking a little smoother, if less dramatic than it does in person. I only used washes to dirty up his teeth, and on the rope belt and club. I think I'm getting better with each figure, but I'd love to get some comments and suggestions from some of you CMON experts!

This is pretty nicely done, for only a 5th piece! You've definitely got the ideas behind shading and highlighting, and you also seem to have good brush control. I notice that the paint looks a little grainy; try thinning your paints a little more. Also, you might want to try blacklining to help separate sections of the mini (like the loincloth here). Nice work overall, though. Keep it up! :)

I love these little guys. For such a small figure, you've done a good job. One suggestion; instead of using a green-white mix for highlighting, you could instead use a green-yellow mix. The green-white gives it that washed out look; the green-yellow would be much different. Try looking at some of the other greenskins around here to see examples. But it's a good job for such a little guy!
