Bridge of Sorrows
This is my first ever diorama...more or less straight out of the box (I added the flames and mystic blasts). When I was a kid, I had the 1984 issue of Dragon magazine with the cover art by Denis Beauvais ... and it has stuck with me for almost 30 years! I couldn't afford the Ral Partha kit when I was a kid, but Iron Wind picked up the moulds, and I bought it right away. I've seen this painted before, but never with the great source lighting that made the original cover art so memorable. So I thought I'd try to re-create that cover as best as I could. I hope if Denis Beauvais ever sees this, he'll take it as a tribute from a former kid who was inspired by his art.
