No disrespect taken Trucker, I'm not foolish enough to think they are worth what they are ATM (9.2)
By my own admission they arnt intended to be amazingly painted. And dont consider myself a great painter. The cloth is mostly just edge highlighted to be looked at from a distance on the table, with just a slight glaze of grey to black.
The skin is sharp for an intended cartoon look. I feel bad that they are hitting 9.x it belittles some of the truly nice work on here
Really mean no disrecpect to the painter of these two very nice gobbbos, but are people really serious that these are some of the most awesome painted minis on the site? Are they the near pinacle of painting? Why are people voting them 9,2? Means someone has voted 10. I like them, I think they are cool, but its very limited with freehand, the blends are seen better and the highlights are rather sharp. I would love to ses an army painted to this standard, dont get me wrong, but they are not 10 or even 9.
