Nice paintjob, both on the fire and on the ice version. Only criticism would be that both models lack a bit of extra care in the prep work: a mold seam is highly visible on the wings leading edges :)

I know ,the rookie's mistake but this time it was on purpose :) I was following some of the phoenix arts and if you google them usually most of them are in this fashion. Normal fire behave and look as you described but this is a magical creature and it kind of made sense for me that the coolest place is at feathers and it gets hotter as it goes further. Maybe not too logical explanation but I like it this way. Next one will obey the rules :) Thanks for the comment ! ;)

The paintwork is technically speaking very clean. However if you are looking for criticism, the only thing I can think of is that the fire is backwards. IE, it should be brightest at its origination point and darkest along the trailing edges. Basically, right where the flame pieces connect to the feathers should be nearly pure white, and it should darken as you move down the flames, but you have it the other way around. Otherwise, I do think the mini looks very nice!
