Ten balls right with marines all techniques used are the edge highliting use the body of your brush after you've fanned the tip flat by dragging it on a palettes while turning it over top and bottom once the thinned paint is loaded. To give the depth lay in almost black purple in successive thin layers(blending through transparencies, instead of feathering blending) each time layer the paint adding a touch more black twords the inner parts of the recessive shadows ultimately using thinned black in places where no light hits . Layering in shades is a way of subtle transitioning of colors that use transparent tribes that blend as the transparencies let the color show through and the more layers you overlay the stronger the tone will start to become creating depth.great work on your first . My first was an abortion! Lol

Thanks man! It means a lot! I'll focus on edge highlights control as well as deep shading~

Make the edge highlights more tidy and sharp, it will really make the difference on a space marine.
