Eldar Farseer

Well, not sure what to say. I just started painting, and, actually, this is my second or third model. The first two were a marine and an ork given to me that I tried different painting techniques out with. I wish you guys could see the face on the staff in the right hand clear, I'm really happy how this model turned out. It's my first 'real' one, eh, anyways, hope you enjoy. Feedback welcome! (PS I'm 15 years old if it matters any)

Hey guys, thanks for the comments so far. I did use a light actually, it's my camera, for some reason it takes pictures either A.) Too light or B.) Too dark. Not sure how to fix it. Yeah, this guy was a pretty easy paint for me, I'd say it took me about an hour and a half to finish him, I get kind of bored painting the same guy for a while, so, most of my work is incomplete. Not sure how to fix that either. Peace

Very good for a fourth one, cool gems, simple base and some shading on that purple. Later if you redo him you could pick a good brown color like Vermin Brown and blend up to Bleached Bone on the bone parts. More practice and you're getting good. And age is irrelevant.. i'm 13 :D

For your third ever mini this looks really good! The picture is a little dark, try getting two or three light sources set up for your next shot. As for the painting, the gems look great, details are fairly sharp. You might want to highlight the tunic with a lighter version of your basecoat there on the raised portions of the fabric. A different colour on the shoe would make it stand out better from the tunic. The cloak colour looks rougher than the rest, try to smooth that out a little. More highlights on the edges of the blade would also make it look more three dimensional.
