Thanks for kind words and taking the time to vote. lol, yeah, he has been giving me allot of support which has been great for my confidence in those moments when i've made a mistake and wanted to smash the mini into teeny, tiny pieces. But don't worry Miranda, i'm in the planning stage of a Slaanesh chaos marine and am going to be battering him with questions, so next game he'll probably be moaning about me not leaving him alone. I learned allot from this guy. 1) I was so worried about paint that I didn't concentrate as much in the prep, which comes back 10fold when you've started painting. 2) Previously when highlighting i'd hit every edge all the way, on this I tried to only bring up certain spots. I didn't get it right by any stretch, but I think i'm on the track 3) To start taking more WIP shots. The camera is the harshest critic. 4) DONT BE AFRAID TRYING NEW THINGS, the lightning effect is my first, and again, its not correct but I think i'm on the right track. 5) Thinner paints, and more control.
