Painted this as a break from my power armour addiction. Finished over the course of a lazy Sunday. I can see allot of mistakes, particularly the metallics, but it was an exercise in speed. My journey continues.
Thanks guys, I really needed a break from power armour and I had this guy free from an old white dwarf. Had a couple of penny drop moments with this guy.
1) Working fast produces better results, I don't mean go crazy but pausing for thought can really interrupt the flow.
2) Painting something that you would'nt normally paint is great practice.
and
3) I really enjoy painting purple. Green is my favourite colour but purple is really relaxing to paint, had a blast doing his hair.
