I think you could have gone a little further down the way of your 'flayed skin' look. Another highlight with a pink-red plus yellow ochre mix would have given this creepy fellow a nice touch. While your bone-white head lacks contrast, the green spine on red flesh has too much of it! Actually painting the sand on the base and distributing the grass more naturally would certainly improve the overall look of the mini. Did you accidently splash paint on the tail's tip while painting the base or is it just the pic? I hope this helped. Good luck and have fun! :)
Very scary monster. Nice flesh tones on the muscles. I like the yellow eye and the teeth. The base might look a bit better with a warmer light brown on the sand or gravel. Also, it looks like you may have a small touch up on the lower part of the tail near the base. Very good mini!
