High elf phoenix guard banner

High elf phoenix guards Keywords: Ancient, Pyramids, White fire The phoenix guards are an ancient and mysterious monastic order, that's why I chose the parchment color with small crackles. Their temple is a pyramid and so I chose an Egyptian base with a beetle, which is also the main element of the banner surrounded by hieroglyphs. They are silent and cause fear. For this, I tried to paint a full black face as if there was nothing inside the armor. They are keepers of the white fire of Asuryan and that's why the second color is pure white. Any comment and help would be much appreciated :)

Hello, thanks! I updated the description to explain my choices. The black face is pretty nice from afar because it seems that there is nothing inside the armor. It justifies a little bit the "cause fear" rule for this unit :) I didn't want to remove the face from the miniature because I wasn't sure it was the right choice. But you're right I should add some details inside the helmet, I'll try this for the next one. There is still room for improvement :)

Very strong and original paint scheme, good colour choice! Is there a "story" behind the black face? I would maybe light and shade the black little bit. It is probably just because of the small picture, but on the first picture it looks little bit "I forgot to paint the face". :-) But on the picture down below it is clearly visible that it is black skin and it looks good.
