High elf phoenix guard duo

High elf phoenix guards Keywords: Ancient, Pyramids, White fire The phoenix guards are an ancient and mysterious monastic order, that's why I chose the parchment color with small crackles. Their temple is a pyramid and so I chose an Egyptian base with a beetle, which is also the main element of the banner surrounded by hieroglyphs. They are silent and cause fear. For this, I tried to paint a full black face as if there was nothing inside the armor. They are keepers of the white fire of Asuryan and that's why the second color is pure white. Any comment and help would be much appreciated :)

Thanks guys! It's a pleasure to receive comments from great painters. I'll try to finish the phoenix guard unit I have with these colors and move on to the phoenix rider if I manage to find the right color for the phoenix. Maybe black with blue and teal flames. My parchment color is not as good as the one you used on your Alahan Army Max! What color did you use ?

I'm impressed by the concept and the painting, with special consideration for the quality of the free hand. Good Work!

Most probably won't like them much because of the relative low contrast (except for the armor) and low saturation scheme you chose, but I love this almost monochrome scheme. The blue osl and flames look pretty good too as is the freehand on the banner and cloaks. overall I really like them. If you are doing a whole army, then please share a pic of them finished. They could really look striking.
