A nice way to get good black armour wooking is use some black and light blue 50-50 mix .Water it down and lay it on like a wash over a white primed miniature.And then dry brush a 3 to 1 mix all over the armor with the lighter blue so you see a little high light, water down some ink or black paint and wash over the armor don't go over board because the highlights should be almost 50-50 at this point if too light of a blue for high lights then take your blue ink and with hardly no ink on the brush, Go over high lights lightly till you think its just right.
