next time you take a picture, don't put it in front of some unexceptional terrain that serves only to obscure and distract from the lines and colors of the mini. as far as this mini goes, you've got some nice techniques on it, imo-- the problem is you use ALL of these techniques, leading to an overly-busy model without a focal point. next time, do mottling, or striping, or scaling, or a FEW decals-- heck, even two of the above, but not all of the above. i agree that the turret is very nice.
