Revenge of the Christmas Pudding
Just a little bit of silliness for the so-called festive season. This is about as close as I get to Christmas decorations. I called it ‘The Revenge of the Christmas Pudding’. (Well if we can have a movie called “Attack of the Killer Tomatoes” then why not? Bet George Clooney regrets that one!) I sculpted on some green stuff to represent Brandy Sauce and then added some sculpted Holly and Berries. Painted with GW Scorched Brown as a basecoat, then with Vallejo Leather Brown as a next highlight level. That didn’t seem to look right so I gave it an overall wash of thinned Vallejo Smoke, that pulled the levels down again so I was able to work the highlights back up using Vallejo Leather Brown, Beige Brown and Dark Sand mixes . Final sharp highlights had Pale Sand mixed in to give the high spots. All in all just a bit of fun for a wet and miserable afternoon.
