The red trim is too much because there is nothing else. No depth from highlighting. It seem the only other colors are the green and the metallic. If you wanted more balance in the color scheme, try painting the trim around the shoulderpad red. Do the wrist pad and elbow guards in another hue. Quite simply, he needs to be worked on further.
This is an unusually low score for me, but there just isnt that much here. Black base color, some green eyes, a little gunmetal, and a bunch of red painted directly over the black. Do you know how to highligh black? If not, send me a message.
If you brighten it up a bit I think you will actually like it better. It will also fit in better once the black armor is highlighted. I'd get rid of the black line down the side of the purity ribbon.
