Owain Glyn Dwr (from Pegaso Models) 54mm

This is my first attempt at an historical mini. I have to say that the Pegaso minis are outstanding; the quality of the sculpt is absolutely stunning. With the basing (and mud-spattered caparison) I tried to capture the battle readiness of this hero who was the leader of the last and most serious Welsh rebellion and proclaimed the Prince of Wales in 1416. The Golden Dragon was his symbol and the quartered lions is the symbol of the Prince of Wales. I hope you like it. It was a real pleasure (and test) to paint.

I dont ever give 10's because I think everyone can improve on what they already have.. besides 10 is the best example ever.. and should be only given to the best of the best.. if I threw 10s around like candy then they would be less impressive. But I have to say this is damn near a 10.. like 9.9. I am very impressed with your style and skill. Great work Jim.. keep them coming! My eyes need more candy like that to look at.
