Ogroid Thaumaturge
I painted this quite a while ago. I think I finished it in april / may. I didn't like the original colour scheme so I tried to figure out something of my own instead. I'm quite happy with how it turned out in the end. It's not the smoothest paintjob I've done, but I like it. The skin, light areas: Tallarn flesh (old gw foundation paint, shaded with black, highlighted with I think just by adding white (or maybe another flesh tone, I can't remember exactly). Then glazed over with purples to get the tint. Dark areas: Abaddon black highlighted with vallejo model colour (not model air) dark sea blue. Then white + dark sea blue. Runes: Ceramite white to get them bright. Then lugganath orange. Then I used bloodletter as a shade, and glazed around the runes as well. Then I glazed with a thicker glaze of evil sunz scarlet in and on the edges.
