@BloodASmedium: thanks mate. sometimes i feel that everything is pointless but i am still a believer. just takes time and needs some sacrifices. mate if youre interested , lets organize something in NY. i have never been there and i would love to teach there. organizers have benefits and there are already many people interested for future courses. so if youre interested send me an email to banshee.masterclasses@gmail.com thanks for the comment i really appreciate it.

@Palocles: a bust just look like a static pose?....That comment explains many things about your reasoning .First: a human being is never static unless is dead, then, lights can be in movement as any neon light of hundreds of adverts.. in the other hand: why a bust represent someone static?.. if you say this means that you have not seen many busts.. because there are hundreds of busts that represents the opposite , check Pegaso Models for example, or maybe some example that can convince you more, its called bernini check it:http://www.e-flux.com/announcements/30194/bernini-and-spanish-drawings/ More over, any painting is just a personal interpretation so it can represent whatever because the painter is the creator of the story. even more if he is also the sculptor. and it is just a creative exercise. Seems that people here judge the realism, when , 1st has never been my intention, like is not the intention of many artist from many artistic fields.. trying to analize things from what you think its real or not, it is curious coming from a majority of people that paint toys and styles that are nothging except realistic( nothing wrong with that, just a fact). You cannot judge by realism because : 1st: as soon as you play with lights and shadows you are inmterpretating something: you are painting, not replicating any reality.. 2nd: nothing on a bust like this is realistic.starting from the sculpt which is not realistic but beliavable (different concepts indeed), in the miniature everything is just about the style, the experimentation and the beauty of colors and brushtrokes, nothing else.

I don't think I even get a figure primed in four hours :) Excellent work and representation. Oh, and BAM, he will be at VA for NOVA Open this year teaching some seminars, if you get a chance to go.
