Hello, this is my latest finished project: King of the forest. Lovely miniature from the Rising Sun boardgame, I liked the figure concept when I first saw the peaceful model. I painted the figure a few weeks ago and now decided to give him a "real" base. Here you can see a picture of the figure without the forest base: http://www.coolminiornot.com/423035 I had lot of fun sculpt and create the base. Very nicely painted. I love the deer in particular. I'd like to attend the basing class to learn from one of the best but I unfortunately live across the pond. The multiple water falls on the base are wonderful and the colour you have worked into it is just as good.

Thanks for the nice reply Micha :) I checked it, it was pat of the dynasty invasion box, another pledge possibility with some nice models in the same style like this one. No, the animals aren't sculpted by me. The most of the animals are from minisocles-store.fr, I really like those, very nice sculpts. And a few are from the busch small animal set ;)

Amazing Piece; this mini must be some Special/limited one as I´m pretty sure it´s not part of the "normal" rising sun set. The small Diorama suits this mini perfectly, so natural and tranquil... did you sculpt all the animals - or are they from some 3rd party manufacturer? The owls look particularly cool! Totally a 10.
