Don't let the voting discourage you!It's a great (awesome in fact) FIRST attempt.
Dilution of paint is almost right (I'd say a tiny bit more of water). That blue scarf light blue makes you to focus on the face of the model, that's great!
Jumps between base colours and light colours are a bit abrupt, but their placement (most difficult thing to do) is excellent.
Don't forget to paint the base next time! This one looks like a perfect sandy desert base ;)
