Good ideas, Kolja. A little wash and edging. Not quite sure how to do it on the camo spots but I'll look around for ideas. Can you point to any examples?

Clean paintjob, and I like the camo pattern you chose. But it does look a bit unfinished, as you say.
I'd suggest shading with some machine-oily looking blue/black wash on the camouflaged areas, and some sharp edge highlights on the camo and the metal parts. With that it would make a really neat mini for the tabletop, at least in my book.
