minis from Molerats in Space game
Another one of the kids' favorite games. My 5yo painted and shaded the red one, 9yo the rest, and I fixed mistakes / highlighted. This was also my first foray into overhead lighting. I tried to paint overhead reflections on the blue helmet one but not on the red one. Which one do you think turned out better? I was also trying to figure out the easiest way to make it look like they have a glass faceplate. I contemplated applying gloss varnish to the face, but I think that will not have the desired effect and make the face look wet. Is there an easier alternative than to paint glass plate reflections on the face (which probably requires more skill than I have...)?
