Close-Ups Diana w/Dog
Sorry about the second posting of this mini, but I re-listed her again on Ebay with a 'Buy-It-Now' option and unfortunately/fortunately, she sold for $175.00 in(52 minutes) before my CMON 'Featured-Auction' had time to go from 'Waiting Staus' to 'Active Status'; hence, she is in a state of perpetual limbo, I am out one credit for featuring and auction that never made it to active status!:o( Otherwise, you are viewing another painted 80 mm, white metal (primed white) miniature from Phoenix Phantasy Line. Diana the Huntress Goddess with two large dogs. Borzoi, also called Russian Wolfhounds, are a large hunting dog specialized for chasing down fleeing prey. (Thanks everyone who helped with the breed of these beautiful dogs!) I have painted Diana with warm, sun-kissed skin (multiple layers for depth and that touchable look), pale blonde hair (especially difficult to paint, as the hair was sculpted flat, with little, or no texture); hence, all the strands of hair, highlighting and shading were meticulously painted on. She has light, blue eyes, painted lips, cheeks and nails and is wearing a pale leather-skin outfit; Gold arm bracelets, bow (which I have strung) over her shoulder and arrows on her waist band. Based in dark green mix for contrast, static grass, painted rocks and sealed with matte finish for protection. This is an especially beautiful piece and a great addition to any collection!
