Heavy Gear - Black Mamba

My first attempt at a 'Mech in my current painting phase (teenage-era atrocities thankfully have vanished into the mists of time). Painting the camo was fun, the shiny metallic "paint chips" are painted on and not just actual wear on the mini - every military vehicle I've ever seen has some paint worn off all the protrusions and I wanted that well-used look.

I like the color palette you've chosen here. The camouflage looks very authentic. The paint chips are a nice touch. An all around cool mini.

Painting camo is always fun but sometimes the camo pattern works too well and the mini becomes less attractive (and may become easy to lose on a table top "sigh"). I don't know the actual size of this fig, but if it's around 30mm, I suspect some "over highligthing" (my bilingual dictionary is crying) would make your mini even more pleasant to the eyes. The "paint worn off" trick looks good.
