Wedding Cake Top - Knight of Alahan - WIP, part 3
Hi All, This is the third "Work In Progress" shot of the diorama I’m doing for my Wedding Cake topper. To recap, basically, the idea is a Red Lioness, done in variations of white, and a Knight of Alahan, done in black or dark blues [turned into Golds and Reds]; representing the Bride and Groom (me). The figures will be standing on a snowy river bank about to cross a stream to a grassy spring like bank. This is the third piece completed, the Knight's Warhorse. Finishing this on April 7th, around 4:30 am, 2+ days past my deadline was very stressful and left me with the Knight himself about 75% done. So I was about 90% there and now just had to finish the Knight and paint the base. With the Wedding 2 days away (April 8th) and still lots of other things to do I was in for a couple of all nighters, as I had to still create and print the Wedding Programs and put all the pre-reception, Ceremony music to CD for the DJ.
