Chaos Beastlord

Here is a Chaos Beastlord painted up as a Khorne devotee. The Figure is one that I’ve admired by other painters on Coolminiornot. So, I just had to get this and try my hand at him. He’s painted in Vallejo colours with the exception that the basecoat for the skin was Citadel Scorched Brown. This was first highlighted with Vallejo Leather Brown, followed with Beige Brown and then the three levels were merged down using a medium wash of Vallejo Smoke. Subsequent highlights were Leather and Beige brown mixes. I managed to paint the figure in a single day sitting, which surprised me as there is really a great deal of detail to work on. Hope you like this as much as I enjoyed painting it. Comments as always welcome
