The paint does appear a bit thick, but I love the skeleton - very gritty. The base on the other hand needs some work. I hate the standard gw green edges. I think I'd go with a stone base look or rock base look with this mini - keep the base in the same color range - the green makes it appear too garish - nice work on the skeli though!
