Beastman Lord

This is another Beastman Lord, which I was inspired to do by the ones I'd seen here on Coolmini. I must admit to having real problems with attaching the hands to the body even with pins. It must have taken a good 2 hours just to get the hands to stick. Fortunatley the figure itself stuck to the display base without any problem, or it probably would have had a free flying lesson. The display base is a small section of Welsh Slate through which a steel pin has been drilled and then attached into one of the hooves. It's painted up with Vallejo and GW colours and must have taken about 24 hours in total (over several weekends!). I hadn't intended to enter this into the local GW Competitions, but it ended up in the cabinet. It won the Over 16's Warhammer Single Figure Competition.

That's really nice! Great color choices! I guess if the base was a tad more exciting, I'd give it a 10! Top notch work!

I agree. This is one of the better Beastman paint jobs I have seen.
