Space Marine TechMarine

Hello to all! My husband was afraid to have me help him paint his mini's until he had me help. When he saw that I could paint he gave me a challenge. Since I wanted to learn how to paint properly, he suggested that I learn how and paint his Command Squad. For several weeks I took the 5 guys to the nearest GW where they helped me learn all the steps to clean, assemble, prime, paint, flock and matte the figures. This is the TechMarine, I will be posting the other 4 separately. Keep in mind, this set is my first attempt at painting...I learned all my techniques from the guys at GW and thank them for the directions. Please let me know how well I have learned and any comments are welcome. Thanks in advance! Babela

Well I think you've painted this very well. I cannot believe the GW guys didn;t tell you to drill out your gun barrel though! Typical of them I'm afraid! ;)

These are my first. I took lessons from the guys at GW that was close to me. One of the guys helped me with each step, he showed me one step and then I finished each step on each figure. It took about 2 months to finish since I was also helping my husband get his 2000 point army painted. His army is basic, but the command squad looks the best out of all of them because I did have details in them. I see other figures on cmon that are far better than the ones I just painted, I only hope that I can be as talented as some of them. Thanks for the comments!

First mini's, are you sure, lol. Looks great, in theme and nicely done. Wish my wife would paint minis for me!
