The Dreaded Pink Mage Chick

I did this particular figure in a bit of a rush as a gift for a friend. Oddly, I decided that the pressure to get it completed in time for her arrival in town wasn't enough. Oh, no, I had to make this my first attempt at non-metal metal. And put it on a base. With felt on the bottom. And some weak little shrubs. And then take the picture without having time to check it before running out the door.

But enough of that. The colours of the figure (the name I can't recall; it's a Reaper figure however) are intended to mirror those of the stained glass window. Normally I don't care for all the garish colours that I used -- the pink, for example, looks too harsh, really.

I put this together back in January, and the interesting thing is that even though I've been painting for years, I see a marked improvement from when I did this figure. Still, my only real regret with this figure is not having taken a better picture of it.

Oh, and the pink... by the gods, the pink.

I have to agree, I think the pink, along with the blue and the green gem really make the mini, and it is even better that it works with the stained glass window as well.

I really like the pink matey, I think it looks really good (I am a little biased on that colour though). The stained glass window looks beautiful too Shaz

No Such Agency
If your friend has a digital camera, ask her to take some pics of it. I think the pink is fine, I wouldn't use it myself but it sets this mini off from many other Lysettes out there. And the base is just plain cool.
