At only 2cm in height, this fellow is so full of character and fun to paint. The scars on the snipped off head wasn't sculpted. It was a small experiment by me to paint 3d scars. I'm quite pleased with the result.
Now this is a underated paintjob. If we hadn't been advised of the painted cuts/scars on the head I'd have taken them to be painted on. The Inset shows just how subtle your painting on this is, the lower of the two heads is showing very great skill in placing the eyes with a "rolled back in their sockets" aspect as well as the Cyanotic tinge to the lips. Some people might think that the mini is "dark" but it is a Familiar of Darkness and should be both dark in colour and dark in nature.
