Assassin of the Blue Orchid
For the most part, this figure was a joy to paint. The only thing I didn't care for was the fiddly little shuriken he's got tied to his belt -- like he's going to be able to whip those out at a moment's notice. "Whoop, stand right there a second... let me untie... okay, don't move... knot's a bit tricky, heh... hey, where are you going!?" Right, I should stop rambling when I write these things. As I was about to say, the cloak was what made this one fun to paint. Being an assassin of the Blue Orchid, I thought I'd give him an intricate orchid in the center of his cloak. It's done in a non-metallic metal gold style. You can bet your bottom dollar that behind those stern eyes Mr. Assassin is thinking of all the ways he can kill his tailor for making it harder to hide. "Hey, you rat tailor! I said a BLUE orchid." "What, it IS blue!" "No, I meant ... like... manly blue. Without gold." "You never said I couldn't put gold on that cloak." "Man, you just wait until I untie these shuriken." Okay, okay, I'll stop now. Kep
