Ulthwe Eldar Warlock

I haven't been painting seriously for very long, but have been into 40k since the early 90s. Back then, I used to stare at a picture of this model in the back of a White Dwarf for sometimes hours. It is still, by far, my favorite in the whole of 40k.

Thanks guys, I think you're referring to the jewels, right? It's actually deceptively simple. Blend the jewel color from the bottom to black at top, put a fine white dot in the darkest area of the jewel, and then use thinned-down white to give defused highlighting to the lightest area at the bottom.

I agree with you... This is one of the finest miniatures ever produced by GW. And you my friend has done it justice. Ulthwe looks good in blue. I also like the Farseer that you painted. Keep it up! I would love to se more eldar from you.
