Dwarf Lord (UK GD 2004 Finalist)

My Golden Deamon UK 2004 Entry for the Warhammer Single figure category. This chap was not my original planned entry but due to a major flaw in the figure I was going to use, I had to swap tracks just a few days before the event. To be perfectly honest I’m glad I did. I finished painting him at 21:10 on the Saturday before Gamesday (October 2nd), which is probably the latest I’ve ever left a mini to complete. Despite the fact that I’ve been painting for what seems like hundreds of years this probably the first Dwarf I’ve done in a decade, and I am impressed by the quality of the sculpture of this character. Even though he is fully armoured there is still a great deal of detail on the figure. He is painted completely in Vallejo paints and I had to go NMM to do him justice. I like him and I think a number of other people like him as well as he got through the first cut and gained me a finalist certificate. I hope you like him too and as always comments are appreciated. Oh and anyone who has a copy of the Dwarfs army Book for WFB Yep that's him in the gallery at the rear of the book

He's fabulous Dragonsreach! Even without being able to see any expression there's a lot of character in this mini and you've done a great job with him.

A well achieved finalist pin badge, and I feel I must congratulate you for getting a miniature on the showcase page of the dwarf army book. If they doesnt say something, what will? rosac
