With the recent release of a new range of late medieval/ renaissance miniatures from Foundry, I really wanted to update my favorite army (my Swiss confederates). Dave Andrew's interesting poses replete with nice period swiss dress was the just the ticket. This allied crossbowman from Ravensburg is the part of that army.

Nice and clean, with smooth shading & good basing. This has a great historic feel to it, especially the shield's crest. The sculpt is a tad simplistic, however, such as with the folds in the clothing. I'd actually call this a 7.5 for that reason.
