[KENZER MINI] Fairy Meat Beat Pixie

This is my first attempt at painting a miniature. I used to paint about 12 years ago (when I was 14 and gobs of paint were the norm) but after about 3 months that was that. I just picked it up again after the wife and I decided to do something 'together'. Probably not the 'norm' color for a pixie (looks more like a goblin to my eyes) but this is supposed to be a Brownie from Kenzen Co. Fairy Meat line of miniatures. I REALLY like this miniature, though I would have been a lot happier if the decapitated head wasn't part of the miniature. I've learned that I'm not really good at 'true flesh' type of stuff.

Holy Smigs
most excellent... has a definitely solid cartoonish, and i'm glad to see i'm not the only one who thought this mini needed green skin (i did similar to yours, but faded the skin to a GW jade/vile-green) ditto on the head thing... definitely like the pseudo-tye-dye of the shirt. now i just wish i hadn't given mine away as an x-mas present 'cause i could've posted pics of it too...

Heh, well thanks I think (smile). Before I picked up the brushes again I did quite a bit of reading online and account any amount of skill to that. Appreciate the ego boost though.

Sweet Monkey Jebus - if this is how you paint after 12 years of your brushes being down, I would hate to see what you are going to turn out after a little more practice - This deserves far more than a five
