Kislev Winged Lancers

These sat around awhile before I got around to them. I deffinitely didn't like the way they were painted on the box so went for my own look. I used a version of underpainting on the wings. The horses were done using oils to stain over an acrylic undercoat. Makes for a longer drying period but it is a 2 step process. Bases are a thin coat of Model Magic, GW grass and some stones.

Thanks. Actually since the picture was taken I have added nose stripes and socks on the horses. The banner I have not yet created, though I have a rough draft.

A hand painted banner and hand painted design on the shield would really have set these guys off. Also a stripe on the forehead or different coloured muzzle would break up the colour of your horses. Nice job tho, Im doing a kislev army (Painted 50 horses so far) and like to see other examples of them.
