Don't use flash, and take the picture from further away. Other then that you seem to have good brush control, so you could start shading your minis. Use some thin layer for the cloth. And wash of black on the silver.
Egads! My eyes!!! Too close, too shiney! try shadind the metal areas with some armor wash or black ink. shade everything else with a darker color . Keep on trying...
