Given the deluge of marine models posted on CMoN, I suspect this little guy may take a bit of a beating. I'll simply add that this is a actual gaming miniature from one of my army collections and not a display model. My camera has poor wide angle capabilities and squad sized pictures are rather difficult. I can only take credible pictures of single miniatures or very small groupings.

I agree with the others. This is a brilliant piece. The checkerboard, the striping on the sword, the eyes.... I love it.

Impressive, simple impressive. The checkerboard and danger striping have no flaws I can see, and the shading on the armor, expecially the Imperial Eagles are superb. As for the helmet, the eyes have it. Wow. I wish there was a 9.5, the only thing keeping it short of a 10 is the flocking. Maybe some 'static grass' or 'sand & gravel' in one or two small spots would give it that extra 'umph' it deserves. Bravo.
